The Two “B’s” ~ Budget and Boundaries

It can be hard to set both. Sometimes budgets are fluid and sometimes we have to make everything fit within a concrete number. I will help you do that. Boundaries can be even harder when your friends and family have lots of ideas and requests. I’ll help draw the lines and I’ll continue to be your advocate and intermediary until the last rack of glasses has been returned to the rental company. It will be a day you continue to cherish for many years.

Your Dream Team

The Dream Team that we create together will look different than the Dream Team for another client. You are different. Your desires are different. Your day is different. I’ve worked with wedding pros in all price ranges, styles, and personalities. We will get the right one for you. Sometimes we need to look outside our area. Seriously, we needed an Elvis impersonator for a reception and had to bring him from Oregon. We WILL find what you need!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do we know you are the right planner for us?

The relationship between the couple and planner is a very personal one. It requires trust as you will likely be sharing personal information with me. Our styles need to be compatible. If either you or I don’t think it’s a good fit, we are happy to refer you to another planner.

Can a friend or family member officiate?

Of course! Whoever is meaningful to you can officiate your ceremony.

Do you provide Day of Coordination?

Whomever created the idea of “day of” coordination has likely never planned/coordinated a flawless and stress-free wedding! So much is involved in executing a magical day. We communicate with the wedding pro team ahead of time to make sure their needs are met and they have their expectations. We create the timeline and many of the details based on the location. One decision will affect another and it’s like dominoes falling when we don’t have all the pieces ahead of time. You truly don’t want someone just “day of.”

Do you work with LGBTQIA+ couples?

Inclusivity, respect, and care are core values of our entire team. Expressing love and commitment is what this day is all about. We ensure that all wedding pros involved also hold those values.

Why do I need you if our venue has a coordinator?

The venue coordinator is responsible to make sure everything related to the venue works and any problems that come up are handled. Examples could be keeping the rest room stocked, temperature controlled, trash emptied. I take care of your Dream Team, YOU and your guests. I’ll manage all of the décor, wedding pros, the timeline, guest needs, dress emergencies and the like.

Do you bring an assistant?

Most of our packages come with a part time assistant. Depending on the complexity of your event (separate reception and ceremony locations, more than 100 guests, remoteness of location, we may have another team member on site.

What does your average couple spend on their wedding?

In the past 2 years, my client’s budgets ranged from $25,000 to more than $100,000 with most in the $35,000 – $45,000 range. Regardless of the overall budget, we believe that you can have high quality wedding pros and a beautiful venue for your wedding.

What is your pricing?

Several factors go into this; the day of the week, guest count, location, etc. We design 2-3 custom packages for you based on what you share during our discovery call. We listen, we ask questions, and we listen some more. We set a second call to learn your thoughts, adjust what needs to be, and then get started on your spectacular day! What we provide begins at $3295.

Do you plan events in addition to weddings?

All year long! We coordinate many fundraisers throughout the year, corporate events, conferences, milestone parties, showers, and Celebrations of Life. Anything related to people coming together from dinner parties for 8 to festivals for thousands, we are there!
